Donate to our Bursary Fund
Lancaster Independent School for Alternative Learning (formerly Lancaster Steiner School) offers a gentle alternative to mainstream education and we are committed to supporting parents on low incomes to send their children to our school. We believe that Steiner education should be accessible to all. However, as an independent school we do not receive government funding. We are sustained by the fees that families pay, our fundraising efforts and donations.
As a school community we organise a whirl of activities to raise funds for our vital Bursary Fund, and many of our supporters donate their time and skills to keep fees as low as possible – from painting and repairing the school building to organising crafts events and fairs, to benefit gigs and sponsored runs.
Your donation, whether large or small, will enable us to offer more children access to this unique education that nurtures head, heart and hands. We are a registered charity and all funds raised go towards providing this education.
